Trout and Sage Blackwell are exploring a pirate wreck in the Dominican Republic when a recovered clue leads them to a remote beach—and the bones of a child.

Trout is a former Army Apache pilot. Sage has spent years teaching women to fight back. Neither is inclined to leave a discovery like that alone.

But the trail leads inland, toward people with the money to buy silence and the men to enforce it. Asking questions is enough to draw their attention. Finding answers could make the Blackwells the next people to disappear.
